Temporary Road Closures at Sullivan Ave and Towpath St. starting September 21

The Sullivan Avenue and Towpath Street intersection is scheduled to close on Monday, September 21 at 6:00 a.m. for approximately two weeks. 

These temporary road closures will affect access to on-street parking near the intersection and Parking Lot 1 as the construction progresses along Sullivan Avenue. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Temporary Road Closure : Crompton Blvd starting September 9

To complete the work safely, Crompton Boulevard will be closed to through traffic from Richmond Street to the south end of Crompton Boulevard. Bolton Avenue will remain open to traffic through the Crompton Boulevard intersection. Richmond Street and Queen Street will also remain open.

Pavilions

The City of Thorold offers a total of six pavilions available for rental throughout City Parks. 

Location: Ormond Street and Sullivan Avenue 

Amenities: 

  • Seasonal washrooms on site 
  • Bandshell or Lock Patio Pavilions 

Booking is required. 

 

Location: Ontario Street and Mary Street 

Amenities: 

  • Approximately 1,000 sq. ft. 
  • 2 picnic tables 

Location: 1 River Street 

Amenities: 

  • Approximately 175 sq. ft. 
  • 1 picnic table with accessible seating 

Location: 111 Richmond Street 

Amenities: 

  • Approximately 400 sq. ft. 
  • 3 picnic tables with accessible seating

Location: Eligin Street and Colborne Street 

Amenities: 

  • Approximately 400 sq. ft. 
  • 2 picnic tables
