Thorold Community Market
The Thorold Community Market will host a Season Opener on June 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continue every Wednesday evening all summer long until August 26. There will be a Grand Finale on Saturday, September 5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is a free event located in Battle of Beaverdams Park. There is a licensed patio, fresh local produce, food vendors, artisans and live music. Joining us Wednesday evenings will be the Thorold BIA Classic Car Show. The Material Girls
The Material Girls featuring tributes to Adele, Cher, Lady Gaga, Madonna, with special guests Shania Twain and Ann Wilson (Heart) will be performing in the Bandshell from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. this Wednesday, July 15 in Battle of Beaverdams Park.
This high-energy musical production backed by studio musicians captures the elegance and essence of all of these mega stars in one concert experience. All the songs are performed note for note, chord for chord, exactly like the original recordings. Combine the Material Girls of yesterday and today, take the diva experience to a whole new level.
