Allanburg Bridge 11 Closure : October 13 to November 11

The bridge will be fully closed to traffic Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. from October 13 to November 11. The bridge will reopen evenings and weekends. 
During the closure, traffic will be detoured via the Thorold Tunnel and the East Main Tunnel.

Temporary Road Closure : Sullivan Avenue : October 2

Sullivan Avenue from Towpath Street to Front Street temporarily closed on Friday, October 2 and will remain closed for approximately three weeks. 

Holiday Colouring Contest

Each year, alongside the Festival of Lights, the City also hosts a Holiday Colouring Contest for our younger residents. There are two age categories; under 8 years and 9 to 12 years.

This year's deadline for submission is Friday December 18, 2026. After the deadline a winner from each category will be chosen in the new year. Staff will contact the winner to come get their photo taken and receive a festive prize!

Submissions can be completed by uploading your completed colouring sheet and information at the link below or by dropping off your colouring sheet at City Hall.
