Thorold Public Library was established in 1895. Starting out with a collection of only 4,000 print items, the library's collection has increased to include more than 80,000 items including DVDs, Comic Books, Video Games, Magazines and more! The Library is more than books!
The Library strives to provide programming for a variety of ages covering a broad range of topics and interests.
Library Services include:
- WiFi and Internet computers with word processing (Thorold Public Library Card required)
- Laminating, photocopying, printing (Please contact the library for pricing)
- Volunteer opportunities
- Outreach visits
- Programs (both in person and online)

How do I get a library card?
A Thorold Public Library card is free for anyone in the Niagara Region. Individuals must present one piece of valid identification such as a Driver's License or two pieces of identification like a valid Passport and a current Utility Bill.
