Community Market Header
Join us every Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Thorold Community Market starting June 11 to August 27 and for our Season Finale on Saturday, September 13th from 12 to 4 p.m.

It is the City's third season of our Thorold Community Market at Battle of the Beaverdams Park in downtown Thorold. We are continuing our partnership with the Thorold BIA and will host their weekly car show at the Sullivan Street entrance. We will have a fully-licensed patio featuring a local winery and brewery for our guests to relax and enjoy a beverage. We are showcasing four headliner acts at the Bandshell and will continue to feature smaller musical acts on the Circle Patio along with the Thorold Reed Band in the Bandshell. Thorold BIA Car Show

If you have a car that you want to bring to the Thorold Community Market, prior registration isn't required. Just arrive before 5 p.m. and enter through the main park gates off Sullivan Avenue. There will be a 50-50 Draw and prizes to be won from the Thorold BIA local businesses for all participants.

The Bandshell Presents:
ABBAMANIA on June 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Abbamania is the world’s number one production of Abba. This all Canadian cast is from Ontario Canada, has played over 200 shows per year since 1999. Abbamania has performed for the London Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Boston Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, Denver Symphony, the Calgary Symphony and Montreal Symphony.

This production consists of studio musicians that recreate Abba live in concert. Every song recreated note for note, sound for sound to make this show the most authentic Abba production you will ever hear.  Be the Dancing Queen at the Bandshell!

Niagara’s hottest tribute to the ‘90s! Performing all the hits that you know and love (and forgot you loved)! Playing artists like Green Day, Nirvana, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis and everyone’s favourite ‘90s one-hit wonders!

Night Fever on August 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Night Fever is the world’s number one production of the Bee Gees. This all Canadian cast from Toronto, Ontario, will take you back in time to one of the greatest bands in pop history. 

From the early years to the disco era, you will hear all the hits from “Too Love Somebody, How Can You Men a Broken Heart, More Than a Woman, Jive Talking, How Deep Is Your Love to You Should Be Dancing”. Backed by a live band of studio musicians, the sound is so close that you will think you are hearing the original recording. Get your groove on at the Bandshell! 

Bee Gees

The British Legends on August 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

The British Legends, featuring the production of David Bowie, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart. Hear all the hits that made these artists known all over the world, as they ruled the pop charts for the past five decades.

This is an all-Canadian cast of studio musicians and singers. Each song reproduced perfectly, note for note, exactly as the original recordings. You may find yourself rocking out to every song at the Bandshell!

Thorold Reed Band performs in the Bandshell

This is the oldest volunteer concert band in Canada preparing for its 172nd season of making music. The band is an institution in Niagara, having been formed in 1851 and performing continuously since then except for two seasons because of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021.

Kids can meet our Firefighters, have a photo with their mascot Sparky, and sit in a fire truck.
