Community Partner Skating Programs

Experience one of Canada’s favourite winter traditions—skating. Our community partners offer a variety of hockey and figure skating programs at the Frank Doherty Community Arena and Canada Games Park Arena.

The Thorold Amateur Athletic Association is a volunteer driven organization that has been dedicated to helping young hockey players develop skills and enjoy the sport at a recreational and competitive level. They offer various programs for children and youth looking to develop hockey and skating skills.

The Thorold Skating Centre offers CANSkate (learn to skate) and STARSkate (figure skating) programs for all ages and abilities. They are a non-profit skating club sanctioned under Skate Ontario and Skate Canada.
