Orange Level Air Quality Alert
An Orange Level Air Quality Alert remains in effect from Environment Canada. Smoke from wildfires in northwestern Ontario is causing very poor air quality and reduced visibility. Poor air quality may persist into the weekend.

The Council of the City of Thorold will consider the adoption of the 2026 Water and Sewer Budgets, at its Council meeting on April 14, 2026.

Motorists and the general public are hereby advised that Regional Road 89 (Glendale Avenue) between Glengarry Road and Merritt Street in the City of St. Catharines will be closed to through traffic on Monday, September 1st, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
