Time: 6:30 p.m.

Overview
The lands are known municipally as 436 Quaker Road; however do not have a municipal address in Thorold. The northern portion of the subject lands are wholly within the City of Thorold and has an approximate area of 30.33 hectares. The southern portion (not shown on image below) is within the City of Welland and has an approximate area of 30.12 hectares. This application applies only to the portion of the lands located within the City of Thorold.
The purpose of this application is to amend the text of the Port Robinson West Secondary Plan [B1.9.3.11 c) and d)], which currently requires completion of Phase 2 Port Robinson West Subwatershed Study prior to any developments proceeding in Port Robinson West. To facilitate the development of a residential subdivision, this application would allow the owner to proceed with development prior to the completion of Phase 2 of the Subwatershed Study.
Should the Official Plan Amendment be approved, future planning applications will be required to establish appropriate zoning regulations, as well as introduce development limits, block structure and internal road network through a plan of subdivision application.
