Thorold Community Market Returns for 2026 Season Opener

The City of Thorold is pleased to invite residents to the 2026 Thorold Community Market Season Opener on Wednesday, June 17 at Battle of Beaverdams Park.

Building on last year’s success and community feedback, this year’s market will feature an expanded lineup of live entertainment. The season will kick off with The Caverners, performing from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Community Market runs every Wednesday from June 17 to August 26, with a special season-ending celebration on Saturday, September 12. This free weekly event takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and features local farmers, artisans, vendors, community organizations, food, refreshments, and live music.

Visitors can also enjoy the popular Thorold BIA Car Show, featuring classic vehicles on display at the Sullivan Avenue entrance to the park.

“The Thorold Community Market is all about supporting local businesses and organizations while fostering community engagement and pride,” says Mayor Terry Ugulini. “This year, we’ve expanded our entertainment lineup with additional musical performances, opened the Lock Patio to local organizations as a fundraising opportunity, and continue our partnership with the Thorold BIA on their popular Car Show at Battle of Beaverdams Park. It’s a great way for our community to come together each week.”
