Building Permits
All building permit applications are now being accepted at the Planning and Building Services offices located at 8 Carleton St. S., 2nd Floor, Thorold ON L2V 5C2
When a building permit is required, the permit must be issued and in the possession of the Property Owner prior to the start of any construction activity.
Submit a completed application form with two (2) sets of scaled construction drawings for residential projects and three (3) sets of scaled construction drawings for commercial/industrial projects, including proposed site plan referencing and an up-to-date survey. The type of plans required vary depending on the type and size of project.

| Bring a cheque made payable to City of Thorold, to the Planning and Building Services offices. Include a completed full hard copy permit application with completed drawings and documents. |
