Temporary Noise Permits
The City of Thorold’s Noise Control By-Law 37-2014 regulates the volume of noise to preserve, protect and promote public health, safety, welfare and peace and quiet for our residents.
We recognize that there are exceptions to this by-law which are listed in the Noise Control By-Law 37-2014. In the event that a person/community group will be hosting an event where they are aware there will be loud noise, it is in their best interest to apply for a temporary noise permit.
Submit a completed application form with photos of the area where the temporary noise will be occurring (preferably aerial).
