Vendors and Speakers needed for Earth Day 2026

Building on the success of last year’s Earth Day, the City has decided to move this growing event from the Thorold Community Arena to Canada Games Park at 2021 Canada Games Way, Thorold.

The City is accepting applications for vendors, community groups and sponsors. To sign up as a vendor, community group, or sponsor, please contact Jacob Tedesco, Special Events Coordinator at event@thorold.ca or call 905-227-6613 ext. 312

Earth Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This free event will feature educational speakers and eco-friendly vendors, alongside our community partners and local organizations. The Thorold Public Library and Thorold Community Activities Group will also be there with kid-friendly activities.

This year’s theme, "Our Power, Our Planet," focuses on the positive impact we can create when we work together for change.

We will be encouraging residents to organize their own community clean-ups, and City staff will provide free supplies and garbage bag pick-up afterwards. Look on our website to find out how to register your cleanup.
