Notice of Public Meeting for Building Division Fee Review

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thorold will hold a Public Meeting to obtain public comments on proposed changes to the City of Thorold’s current building permit fees and is being held pursuant to Section 7 (6) of the Building Code Act, 1992.

Public Meeting

Date: Tuesday, April 21, 2026
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Council Chambers, 3540 Schmon Parkway, Thorold 

The report outlining the changes and the rationale for the increases will be available at no cost at the Public Meeting, and is currently available in Forms and Resources on the City website and at the link below.

The proposed fee increase will be considered by Council on a date subsequent to the Public Meeting.

Any person may attend the Public Meeting, and make oral and/or written submissions either in support of or in opposition to the proposed fee increase.

If you wish to be notified of the adoption of the proposed fee increase, you must make a written request to the Office of the Clerk at City of Thorold 3540 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, ON, L2V 4A7 or email at clerk@thorold.ca.
