More skate times available at the Thorold Community Arena
The City of Thorold is offering more skate times at the Thorold Community Arena. The following scheduled programming is now available:
Public Skates
This is a fun and relaxed way for families and friends to enjoy time on the ice together.
- Public Skates are Thursdays from 1 to 2 p.m., Fridays from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Saturdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m.
Tiny Tots Skate
This is a free time for parents and guardians to help their young children get comfortable on the ice.
- Join us on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Stick ‘n Puck
This is a great opportunity for children to practice and develop their hockey skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. Full equipment is required, and a parent or guardian must be on the ice to supervise play.
- For children 12 years and under on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- For youth 16 years and under on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Shinny Hockey
This is a pay-as-you-play, pick-up style game for players looking for casual, no-contact hockey. Full hockey equipment is required for all participants.
- For adults 18+ years on Thursdays from 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- For adults 45+ years on Fridays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
55+ Skates
This is a relaxed and enjoyable way for older adults to stay active, meet others, and spend time on the ice in a social setting.
- Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
