Temporary Road Closure : Regional Road 89 on Monday, Sept 1 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Motorists and the general public are hereby advised that Regional Road 89 (Glendale Avenue) between Glengarry Road and Merritt Street in the City of St. Catharines will be closed to through traffic on Monday, September 1st, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The road closure is necessary for the annual Lions Club of Merritton Labour Day Parade.

The detour route for the closure is as follows:
Regional Road 56 (Burleigh Hill Dr/Collier Road N) > Sullivan Avenue > Ormond Street North > Merritt Street
Emergency Services will have access during the closure.
