Notice of Temporary Noise Permit Application : 120 Carleton St. N
Take Notice an application has been submitted to the City of Thorold requesting temporary relief from the provisions of Noise Control By-law No. 37-2014.
And Further Take Notice that those who wish to object to the application can file notice of their objection until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, to the Chief Building Official.
Explanation
Temporary relief from Noise Control By-law No. 37-2014 has been requested to accommodate live outdoor music and karaoke from 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, until 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025. The proposed location of the live music and karaoke is 120 Carleton St., North in Thorold as shown on the image below.

The proposed live music and karaoke shall be associated with a backyard retirement party.
Proposed noise mitigation measures: "Will ensure sound is turned down to a reasonable volume beyond regular hours – will set speakers in garage to dampen noise and notify neighbours of event”.
