Notice of PIC : RRL By-Law

The City of Thorold is currently undertaking a review of its Residential Rental Licensing (RRL) By-law to identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance administrative efficiency, and improve the overall operation of the RRL program. An initial draft of potential changes can be found on the red-lined version of the Consolidated RRL By-law.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) is being held for the purpose of receiving feedback from stakeholders.

Time: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Location:  Thorold City Hall, 3540 Schmon Pkwy, Thorold L2V 4A7

The public can submit feedback through the attached Comment Form in person at the PIC, or by email up until June 2, 2026. Questions can be directed to the City Clerk at: clerk@thorold.ca.

A staff recommendation report will be brought to Council at a subsequent Council meeting. The public can visit the City’s Council Calendar, where agendas for upcoming Council meetings are published. You can also stay up to date by subscribing to receive news and alerts from the City.

Information will be collected in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). With the exception of personal information as defined in MFIPPA, all comments will become part of the public record.
