Notice of PIC: Ross & Hamilton Road Reconstruction Project
This Public Information Centre (PIC) is intended to provide an overview of the project and upcoming construction, and to receive input related to construction considerations such as access, staging, and timing.
The City of Thorold is advancing the Ross & Hamilton Road Reconstruction Project. The project includes full reconstruction of Ross Street and Hamilton Boulevard, including installation of a new storm sewer and replacement of the watermain to improve infrastructure reliability and drainage.
Construction is anticipated to begin in July 2026, following tender award and Council approval.
Date: May 25, 2026
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Location: City Hall, 3540 Schmon Pkwy, Thorold L2V 4A7
During construction, residents can expect temporary traffic adjustments, short-duration driveway interruptions (with advance notice), and typical construction activity, including the movement of heavy equipment. Temporary water service interruptions may occur during service connections.
