The Rolling Meadows Turf Field project is moving into the construction phase following public and stakeholder consultation, with the final design reflecting input received throughout the process. The project is currently out for tender, with award anticipated in mid-2026. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2026, with the turf field targeted for completion later this year and full site commissioning, including the building facility, in spring 2027.
The design features a multi-use artificial turf field to support soccer and other field sports, a perimeter walking trail, and a support building with washrooms, change rooms, and storage. The site will also include on-site parking and enhanced landscaping, including berms to provide screening and privacy for surrounding properties. During construction, typical activities will include site preparation, excavation, grading, installation of underground services, and delivery of materials, including the movement of heavy construction equipment.
