Notice of Passing of Zoning By-Law Amendment : 1914 Glover Road (FILE NO. D14-07-2023)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thorold, at its meeting on April 21, 2026, passed By-law No. 22-2026 to amend Zoning By-law 60-2019 in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act, for the lands legally known as PT TWP PT LOT 138, Township of Thorold with consideration of all submissions made to Council before its decision.

By-Law No. 22-2026 rezones the subject lands to a Holding Provision Agriculture Special Exception (A-127(H)).

The last day for filing a Notice of Appeal is May 18, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.

A Notice of Appeal must be filed with the Clerk of The Corporation of the City of Thorold. The Notice must set out the reasons for the appeal and must include the fee required by the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) for such an appeal. A certified cheque or money order made payable to the Minister of Finance must accompany the notice of appeal. A copy of an appeal form is available on the Ontario Land Tribunals website at https://olt.gov.on.ca/.

Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the OLT. A Notice of Appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a Notice of Appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf.

No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the council or, in the opinion of the OLT, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
