Notice of Passing of Draft Plan of Subdivision: Barron Heights (FILE NO. D12-03-2023)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Thorold, at its meeting on April 21st, 2026, passed approved an application for Draft Plan of Subdivision for the lands legally described as PLAN D-5 PT UNIT 8, Township of Thorold with consideration of all oral and written submissions made to Council before its decision.

The last day for filing a Notice of Appeal is May 17, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.

A notice of appeal must be filed with the Clerk of The Corporation of the City of Thorold. The notice must set out the reasons for the appeal and must include the fee required by the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) for such an appeal. A certified cheque or money order made payable to the Minister of Finance must accompany the notice of appeal. A copy of an appeal form is available on the Ontario Land Tribunals website at https://olt.gov.on.ca/

Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the OLT. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf.

No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the council or, in the opinion of the OLT, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

The lands are also the subject of an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment (File No. D14-11-2023).
