City of Thorold Launches Councillor Composition Survey
The City of Thorold is seeking public input on the composition of City Council through a new Councillor Composition Survey.
The City is inviting the community to have their say on whether the current number of councillors is appropriate, or if changes should be considered. The City is committed to ensuring that its political structure remains effective, equitable, and reflective of the population it serves.
The survey provides an opportunity for the community to share their views on local representation. Input from this survey will assist Council's decision on whether to maintain, increase, or reduce the number of councillors representing the community.
The survey is now available until Monday, October 13, 2025, in both digital and paper formats, with paper copies accessible at City Hall, Thorold Centre 50+, Thorold Community Activities Group and Thorold Public Library.
