Multi-Day Heat Alert and Air Quality Advisory
A multi-day Heat Alert has been issued by Environment Canada with temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius. Widespread wildfire smoke and hot humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high-risk category. Please be advised that those seeking a cool place can visit the Thorold Community Arena from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. this week. For cooling station access, please use the Front Street entrance.
