JAAC Announces 2026 Accessibility Matters Here Award Recipients
The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee (JAAC) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Accessibility Matters Here Awards, recognizing businesses and organizations across Niagara for their commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and barrier-free communities.
“These places are helping create more welcoming and accessible experiences for residents and visitors across Niagara,” said JAAC consultant Donna Herrington. “It is very important they be recognized for the work they’ve done and celebrated across Niagara for championing accessibility, inclusion, and equitable experiences.”

The Accessibility Matters Here Awards are presented annually by JAAC, representing the municipalities of Lincoln, West Lincoln, Pelham, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Grimsby, and Port Colborne.
