Flood Recovery Update

To support residents impacted by the recent flooding, flood related material or waste can be disposed of curbside from Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, on your regularly scheduled collection day, for properties located in the urban areas indicated in the maps below.

If your property's basement was affected but is located outside the highlighted areas, please call City Hall at 905-227-6613 by Friday, August 7, to have your property added to the list that will be shared with the Niagara Region.

In addition, impacted residents may drop off flood-related material or waste at the Humberstone Landfill. For instructions on eligible items, curbside collection, landfill disposal options, visit: https://niagararegion.ca/waste/flood-response.aspx

The City of Thorold will continue working closely with Niagara Region to support affected residents as recovery efforts continue.
