Welcome Vendors and Community Groups

We are excited to bring back the Thorold Community Market for it’s third season!

The Thorold Community Market will be open Wednesday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m. from June 11 to August 27 with a season finale planned for 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 13 at Battle of the Beaverdams Park in downtown Thorold. We will continue our partnership with the Thorold BIA and host their weekly car show that same evening to attract more visitors from all over the Region. We have a fully licensed patio featuring a local winery and brewery for our guests. We will be showcasing 7 headliner acts as well as bringing back the circle patio stage throughout the summer to attract residents of all ages. Leading up to the market opening and throughout the season we will be sharing exciting news with our community through a season long advertising campaign to attract visitors to the market! Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages. Vendors are encouraged to share all posts with their own followers to amplify marketing efforts. We also have a special Thorold Community Market Facebook group which we will be updating regularly with fun photos all summer long.

This summer, vendor spots are $100 entry + $100 deposit for all General Vendors and Food Vendors signing up for the Thorold Community Market for the season. Vendors who follow attendance and cancellation criteria outlined in the application will receive the $100 deposit back at the conclusion of the season.

For anyone requiring hydro we do have a limited number of power outlets. All Vendors will be required to supply a copy of a certificate of their insurance naming The City of Thorold as additionally insured for a minimum of $2,000,000 liability or purchase insurance through our pre-arranged partner. Vendors may be subject to additional requirements which are outlined in the downloadable application.

Set up for Vendors is available from 3 to 4:30 p.m. with all vehicles expected to be moved and parked by 4:45 p.m. The public is welcome to the Market at 5 p.m. and the Market will close at 9 p.m. At this time, vendors will be able to bring vehicles back into the park to tear down and pack up. There will not be an option to leave early as we are unable to have traffic moving through the park while people are walking around and it is open to the public.

We will continue to offer the Lock Patio each week with two available spots to accommodate a local winery and brewery. There will be a fee of $75 per spot for this location to cover the cost of the Special Occasions permit required to serve alcoholic beverages.
