Thorold Santa Claus Parade

Thanks for joining us at  the 32nd Thorold Santa Claus Parade!

The Thorold Santa Claus Parade has been an annual tradition in the City of Thorold for over 30 years. Each year, residents and guests are invited to downtown Thorold to experience a festive array of community floats, marchers, entertainers, and bands. Santa and Mrs.Claus joined us from the North Pole along with their friends; Bluey, The Minions, Kristoff, Olaf, Elsa and Anna, Spiderman, Cindy Lou and the Grinch, Buzz and Woody. The parade took place on Saturday, November 30th starting at 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Collier and Sullivan and finishing at the intersection of Front and Regent. Scroll below for the exact parade route on a google map.

New this year!

Santa met children for selfies and face painting was offered for free before the parade at Battle of Beaverdams Park on Sullivan Avenue from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

As part of Thorold’s Santa Claus parade festivities, Bethesda, a local non-profit group and charity supporting those in the Niagara Region with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, set up a sensory-friendly area for children, youth and adults to access at the mid-way point of the parade at 1:30 p.m. until the end of the parade. Attendees and families enjoyed a calming space, picked up some Bethesda swag, and learned about Bethesda services.
