Splash Pads

The City of Thorold Operates a total of five Splash Pads:

  • McAdam Park
  • McMillan Park
  • Port Robinson Park
  • South Confederation Park
  • Sullivan Park

Splash Pads are open Victoria Day through Labour Day weekend from 10:00AM to 8:00PM each year. Richmond Street Outdoor Pool also features a Splash Pad which can be enjoyed by residents during Public Swims in July and August.  

Splash pads will be closed for the season on Sept 20th 2021

 COVID-19 Guidelines
  1. Splash Pads are unsupervised Water Features available to the public. It is expected that anyone using Splash Pads follow Public Health Regulations. 
  2. Splash Pads are limited to the number of people that can safely socially distance by three meters. No more than 10 persons should be in the Splash Pad area at any time. 
  3. Gathering with members outside your household at the Splash Pad is prohibited. 
  4. Splash Pad users should  complete a self-assessment prior to using the water feature. If there is a chance you or someone you know may have COVID-19, do not use the amenity. 
  5. Parents/ Guardians are responsible for supervising children. 
  6. Bathrooms are available for public use. No more than one household is permitted in the bathroom at any time. 
  7. Anyone standing in line outside the washroom must be socially distanced from others and wear a mask.
