The Frank Doherty Arena at the Thorold Community Arena is available for ice rentals each year from September to March. The rink offers an NHL sized ice pad, spectator seating and changerooms.

Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Insurance
All rentals are required to have insurance. Permit holders have the option of providing a copy of their Certificate of Insurance (COI) to staff prior to rental with the City of Thorold added as an additional insured OR may purchase insurance through the City at an additional fee added to their permit.
