trail in the woods

The City of Thorold is perfectly located along the Welland Canal and provides cyclists and recreationalists with access to more than 12.5 km of paved trail; this is a part of the Greater Niagara Circle Route that follows the Welland Canal from
St. Catharines to Port Colborne and back. Users can also access an old CN Rail Line to cycle all the way to Fort Erie, the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake and Lakeshore Road back to St. Catharines, with more than 140 km of trail.

You can download a printable map and cycling routes of the Greater Niagara Circle Route to help you plan your journey or you can visit the Niagara Cycling Tourism Information Centre for additional maps.
