Join us for a spectacular 3-day event of music and celebration for the Canada Day long weekend

The Niagara Jazz Festival presented by TD Ready Commitment kicked off a three-day spectacular weekend starting on Saturday, June 29 indoors due to inclement weather. The music continued outdoors in Battle of Beaverdams Park on Sunday, June 30 with the City of Thorold’s popular Rock ‘N Blues event and closed with beautiful fireworks at the Canada Day celebrations on Monday, July 1. All of these free events took place from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The  Niagara Jazz Festival presented by TD Ready Commitment welcomed jazz musicians visiting from all over the world. Our popular home-grown Rock 'N Blues on the Battlefield paid homage to Thorold's Rock 'N Blues roots and featured live North American Blue's artists. Our Canada Day celebrations featured live local rock bands, family-fun entertainment and a fantastic firework display to end the weekend festivities.

Please bring ID for a wrist band to be able to consume alcoholic beverages in the Park. Only sealed non-alcoholic drinks are allowed by Security. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as the City looks forward to a big turn out, and seating will be limited. Although parking is FREE throughout the City, plan to carpool with friends or take the Niagara Region transit. This is not an animal-friendly event, though service animals are welcomed.
