Canada Day
Join us this July 1 and 2 for our returning two-day Canada Day and Rock 'N Blues on the Battlefield event!
Our Canada Day celebrations feature live bands, family-fun entertainment and a fantastic firework display. Blues on the Battlefield follows Canada Day and pays homage to Thorold's blues roots and features lives blues artists. Food trucks and a licensed beer tent is available both days. Both events are free to the public.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs if possible, as the City looks forward to a big turn out, and seating may be limited. Though this is not an animal-friendly event, service animals are welcomed.
Battle of Beaverdams Park will be closed to the public before the event from June 29 at 12:00 p.m. to July 1 at 12:00 p.m., and after the event from July 2 at 10:30 p.m. to July 4 at 9:00 a.m.
