Canada Day Community Celebration

The City of Thorold invites everyone to join in on the Canada Day Community Celebrations on Monday, July 1 at the Battle of Beaverdams Park.  The festivities commence at 12:00 p.m., and include the opening ceremonies, children's entertainment, inflatables, live music, food trucks and an amazing show of fireworks at 10:15 p.m.

If this isn't enough, stop by the Battle of Beaverdams Park Friday, June 28 through Sunday, June 30 for the Blues on the Battefield. Enjoy three days of live, FREE music in the heart of downtown Thorold while enjoying food from one of the awesome food trucks that will be on-site.  Check out the full lineup of world class rock and roll and blues musicians. The music gets started Friday night at 5:30 p.m., gates open at 4:30 p.m.

During the Blues on the Battlefield (June 28 - 30) please note:

  • no outside food or drink will be permitted within the gates
  • no dogs allowed (licenced service animals only)
  • lawn chairs are permitted
  • no smoking or vaping is permitted in municipal parks

On Canada Day be sure to wear your red and white, join your neighbours and meet new friends as the whole community celebrates the nation’s birthday!
