Council Meetings

The City of Thorold is recruiting passionate Thorold residents to join a committee or board of management for the remaining 2022 to 2026 term. Recruitment is taking place for the following:

Committees

  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee:
    Two vacancies for at-large members
  • Environment, Climate Change and Biodiversity Advisory Committee:
    One vacancy for at-large member
  • Heritage Advisory Committee:
    One vacancy for at-large member

Boards

  • Allanburg Community Centre Board of Management:
    Two vacancies for at-large members

Applicants for appointment must be at least 18 years of age and either a land owner, tenant or business owner in the City of Thorold.

Eligible individuals are encouraged to submit an electronic application available on the City’s website at the link below or pick up and submit a hard copy application to City Hall reception by March 1, 2024

Applications will be reviewed by City Council on March 19, 2024.
Successful candidates will be contacted thereafter by the City Clerk.
