Notice of Temporary Road Closures: Colborne St. and Sullivan Ave.

The following road segments will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from Monday, January 12 at 7:00 a.m. until Thursday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m. Please note: Local traffic is allowed. Residents are asked to place garbage/recycling on typical pickup days prior to 7:00 a.m. during construction.

Closure 1
Colborne St. will be temporarily closed between Metcalfe St. and Sullivan Ave. 

Closure 2
Sullivan Ave. will be temporarily closed between Sydenham St. and West St. S.

Reason for the Temporary Closures

City of Thorold will be replacing the sanitary sewer system on Sullivan Ave. between Sydenham St. and West St S.
Construction work will include road reinstatement.

During construction, residents will experience short periods of driveway access and water supply interruptions, construction noise, short delays and other temporary inconveniences causing disruptions to the daily routine. Written or verbal notice will be given in person prior to the service disruptions.
