Downtown Parking

The City of Thorold has restrictions in place to ensure consistent availability of parking spaces for patrons visiting the shops and restaurants in downtown Thorold.

On-street parking in the downtown core is limited to a maximum of 2 hours per day. If you need to park for longer than 2 hours, please use a public parking lot available in the area. You can view the interactive map below to find parking lots located in downtown Thorold. When using these lots, please note you are still required to enter your plate number into the parking machine to access the 2 hours of free parking.

Residents and visitors are reminded that re-parking (ie. moving your vehicle from one spot to another), is prohibited on streets located downtown after the 2 hour period. Re-parking is recognized as a parking violation and could result in receiving a ticket.
