Celebrate Family Day with the City of Thorold
The City of Thorold is gearing up for a fun-filled Family Day on Monday, Feb. 20.
Free Family Day Skate
The City will be hosting a free Family Day skate at the Frank Doherty Arena, located at 70 Front St., Thorold. Residents are invited to come out to the arena between 4 and 6 p.m. to participate in the free skate. The City will be serving free hot chocolate and popcorn for all attendees to enjoy.

Family Day Pasta Dinner
Residents are invited to purchase tickets to Darlene Ryan Port Robinson Community Centre’s Family Day Pasta Dinner Fundraiser, hosted at the community centre, located at 40 Cross St., Port Robinson. With two seatings to choose from – 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – attendees will enjoy penne pasta, meatballs, sausage, fresh dinner roll, salad, coffee and dessert. Take out options are also available. All proceeds from the event will go towards upgrades and beautification of the community centre.

Thorold Public Library Activities
The Thorold Public Library will be closed on Feb. 20, but residents are invited to drop-in and participate in the Hearts Scavenger Hunt, which is taking place all week until Feb. 18. Families are also invited to stop by the library during their drop-in PA Day Chess Day on Feb. 17 to play with their jumbo life size chess set.
