Dog Park Construction

Dogs

The City of Thorold is excited to announce the construction of an off-leash dog park on Beaverdams Road by Lake Gibson. This project aims to create a safe and fun environment for dogs and their owners to socialize, exercise, and play. The proposed dog park will be a fenced-in area with amenities such as benches, waste bins and a parking lot. The City's goal is to deliver a high-quality public space that meets the needs of the community.

Public Engagement Opportunities

We are seeking public feedback on the proposed design for the park. Your input will be instrumental in shaping the final conceptual design, which will then be presented to City Council for further review.

To facilitate this process, we are organizing a Public Information Centre (PIC). This will provide stakeholders, agencies and interested community members with an opportunity to engage with our staff and design team and provide their feedback and comments on the proposed design.
