We are now accepting applications for the 2020 Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment.

Information sessions will be held for the 2020 Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment will be held on:

October 17, 2019         7:00 p.m.
Station 2
701 Allanburg Rd             

October 24, 2019         7:00 p.m.
Station 4
2189 Hwy. 20

These sessions are to provide a complete overview of Thorold Fire and Emergency Services, the recruitment process, and candidate expectations.  Please note you do not need to attendand an information session to apply.

All candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age;
  • Have minimum Grade 12 education; and
  • Live within the boundaries of the City of Thorold, and within the District they are applying for.  There are no exceptions.

Application forms will be collected at the information session.

Alternatively, you may email your application to the Administrative Assistant to Fire , or drop off your applications at City Hall along with the following:

  • Cover letter and resume; and
  • Supporting documents such as copies of certificates, diplomas, transcripts, etc.

Deadline for applications will be November 8th, 2018 at 4:30 p.m.
