Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment 

Information Sessions are designed to provide you with all the details you need to kick start your journey as a firefighter. These sessions will provide a complete overview of Thorold Fire and Emergency Services, the recruitment process, and candidate expectations. 

All candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Be a minimum of 18 years of age;
• Have a minimum "G " drivers license
• Have minimum Grade 12 education; and
• Live within the boundaries of the City of Thorold, and within the District they are applying for.
