Traffic Calming: Port Robinson East

Default Interior Banner

Overview

There are ongoing concerns regarding traffic calming in the Port Robinson East community. The City's Engineering Department has conducted a speed study to assess speeding levels in the identified area, which demonstrated that 85 per cent of traffic driving the posted speed limit.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) was held in April 2023 to address the initial concerns provided to staff. Staff have revised the proposed plan based on these comments. Residents are encouraged to attend the second PIC on May 24 to review the revised plan that takes into account residents feedback from the first PIC.
