Stage 3 Re-Opening

With key public health and health care indicators continuing to improve, and the province-wide vaccination rate surpassing the targets outlined in the province’s Roadmap to Reopen, the Ontario government is moving the province into Step Three of the Roadmap to Reopen at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 (Ontario Regulation 520/21 - https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/r21520)
The City of Thorold continues to be in close contact with Niagara Region Public Health officials and upper levels of government to ensure any changes or further restrictions are communicated in a timely manner to staff and members of the public.
The City will continue to provide by-appointment services to the public and will re-instate financial services offerings on a by-appointment basis.
Many city assets have since opened during Phase 2 of the re-opening plan inclusive of: Pools, Port Robinson Ferry, Splash Pads and the Lock 7 Museum.
We will continue to push the Shop Thorold campaign to bolster the messaging and importance of supporting local economies.
We encourage all those around us to work safely as we all do our part in Canada’s efforts in Building Back Better!
