Pine Street (RR 67) Road Reconstruction
Overview
The City of Thorold and Niagara Region are collaborating on the Pine Street road reconstruction project,
slated to begin construction this summer 2024.
City Council approved proceeding with this project on November 2020 through cost-sharing with the Region of Niagara.
The key aspects of this work will include but not limited to the following:
- Installing new curbs and asphalt
- Sanitary sewer removal and replacement
- Concrete sidewalk and curb installation
- Asphalt milling and paving
- Pavement markings; and
- Roadway lighting

The Public Information Centre serves as an opportunity for residents to engage with the project team, review the contract drawings, and seek clarification on any project-related inquiries they may have.
