The Committee of Adjustments is responsible for considering minor variances to Thorold's zoning by-law and enlargements or extensions of a building/structure that is legal non-conforming as well as the creation of new lots through the consents/severances process, boundary adjustments, easements, right-of-ways and long term leases. Application forms can be found below.
Meetings are held at 9:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month in hybrid format, in Council Chambers and via Zoom.
