 Accessible Website and Content

The City will ensure that the official municipal website and web content conforms to the World Wide Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level A, at a minimum, except where meeting this requirement is not practicable.

TTY Bell Relay Services 
The Bell Relay Service allows people with a hearing impairment, people with hearing loss and people with speech disabilities to communicate by phone. Trained operators act as intermediaries to facilitate the call.

Calls places through the Bell Relay service are entire confidential. No record of conversation content is retained.

To use this service:

  • Dial 1-800-855-0511
  • Provide the operator with your name, area code and telephone number
  • Provide the City of Thorold area code and telephone number 905-227-6613
  • The Operator will place the call and tell you to go ahead when City Staff answer

The operator will have to relay the information, so please speak slowly.
